Things to do in Nashville

Nashville is a city full of life. It is a city that smells of delicious food and fun country music. It is a city surrounded by skyscrapers but a few miles down the road are hiking spots and waterfalls. Each time I visit I have found some incredible places to visit. In this blog I have added places to stay, places to eat, picture spots, hiking spots, and tours. Places to stay:

When visiting Nashville and metro Nashville, here are the top 3 places to stay!

First is Harpeth Hotel which is actually in Franklin, Tennesse.

This staircase above is so perfect!

The courtyard is also so dreamy!

The next hotel is the Graduate Hotel in downtown Nashville. This hotel is so girly and beautiful!! The rooftop is a pink and white colored restaurant dedicated to Dolly Parton. This hotel is an awesome photo opportunity too!

Lastly one must stay (or at least visit) the Opryland Hotel

This hotel is absolutely stunning! It’s so fun and it has an indoor water park too. I realize the photo below just does not do justice but it’s so beautiful!! Take my word for it. It is definitely one of the greatest gems of Nashville to visit.

Where to eat:

As I stated earlier, Nashville has the best food ever! It’s so good. A few of my favorite restaurants in downtown Nashville and Franklin include Hattie B’s, Puckett’s, and Merridees.

(Pictured below is Merridees)

My personal favorite is Puckett’s. If you love southern comfort food then you will LOVE Puckett’s. Now, not listed is basically every restaurant on Broadway Street. The live music is simply wonderful. The country music is so lively and it’s great to hear live artists preform.

Things to do in Nashville/Metro Nashville

You can’t go to Nashville area and not hike. Nashville is surrounded by waterfalls. My favorite waterfalls are Cummins Falls and Burgess Falls. The hikes from the falls are not too far from the parking lot. They are easy to do for all ages. And you can swim in the Cummins Falls!

Tours:

My two personal favorite tours include downtown Franklin’s historic electric bike tour. Franklin has a ton of history and I really enjoyed the 2.5 hour tour of this beautiful downtown. This city is darling and it’s fascinating. This is a must do thing to do!

The second tour is Nashville’s bus tour. this hop on hop off bus tour is a perfect way to see all the touristy sides of Nashville. On this tour we saw Nashville’s Parthenon, murals, the Johnny Cash museum, and much more. This is a tour that you get to see everything Nashville. You simply can hop off at one stop and explore and hop on when the next bus comes.

Nashville has so much to offer! It really is a wonderful city. There is so much more I could say about this wonderful city, but that’s for another post!:)
